Trees

Our native tree seeds are sourced from Wright Nursery, an Alberta nursery specializing in native woody plants. With a few exceptions, these species are offered only as seed packages through us. For a wider selection of native trees—available as both seeds and live plants—we recommend contacting Wright Nursery directly. You’ll find their contact information in our Resources section.

Each seed package includes germination and growing instructions on the back.

Seed packs ship year-round. If you order both plugs and seeds between October and March, we’ll send your seeds right away, with plugs shipping separately in spring.

Availability

Our current season’s plugs become available starting mid to late June, with the best selection in late August—which is also an excellent time to plant perennials. If the wildflower you’re looking for is sold out, as a plug or seed package, check back later in the season or ask to be added to our waiting list, and we’ll contact you when it becomes available.
