Forget-Me-Nots are charming, low-growing biennial that brighten moist meadows, woodland edges, and streambanks with clusters of tiny, sky-blue flowers with bright yellow centers. Blooming from late spring to early summer, these delicate yet resilient wildflowers have a mildly sweet fragrance and attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. While the seeds are not a primary food source, the plant supports insect populations that provide food for birds. Readily self-seeding, this native biennial forms loose colonies in favorable conditions.
Forget-Me-Nots are ideal for naturalized plantings, rain gardens, and large flowerbeds, where they make a reliable and graceful border plant. Their soft beauty, ease of care, and pollinator-friendly nature make them a valuable addition to self-sustaining gardens and riparian restoration projects. Moderately grazing resistant, deer may occasionally nibble young shoots but generally avoid mature plants.
