Couldn't load pickup availability
Common Twinpod has silvery-green, fuzzy foliage that forms compact mounds, providing year-round texture, while its bright yellow, four-petaled flowers bloom from late spring to early summer. The flowers attract native bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, serving as an important nectar source in dry habitats. As the season progresses, its distinctive twin seed pods develop, adding further visual interest. This hardy, low-growing perennial thrives in dry, rocky soils, making it an excellent choice for xeriscapes, rock or crevice gardens, and exposed, self-sustaining landscapes, suitable for both urban and rural plantings.
Well-adapted to poor soils and drought conditions, Common Twinpod provides beauty, soil stabilization, and ecological value in tough environments. Its tough, hairy foliage makes it unpalatable to deer and other herbivores, giving it high grazing resistance.
