Description: Crisp yellow bells nodding over fleshy leaves put on a show in early spring. Growing from bulb-like corms means this plant will go dormant by mid-August so plant in a busy bed where other plants will fill in around it later. The early season show is well worth the real estate so plant these cheery wildflowers where you will enjoy them.

Found in Nature: Open to wooded dry to well drained grassy sites.

Distribution: Plains to Montane

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
