Description: Sunny yellow blooms rise above mounds of leaves on Spear Leaved Arnica throughout late spring and summer. A versatile plant that spreads by its roots, Spear Leaved Arnica can be planted in dry, gravelly conditions or more moist areas of the garden in full shade to full sun. Where competition is sparse, arnica will continue to spread and fill in open garden space. Arnica mixes in well with other plants such as harebells and chives to create a beautiful-coloured garden providing benefit food for bees, butterflies and songbirds.

Found in Nature: Open mountain slopes, woodlands, rocky outcrops, gravelly shorelines, Arctic tundra

Distribution: BC and Alberta north through Alaska and Yukon east to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Notes: Potted stock available
