Description: Found in subalpine mountains to moist grasslands, Raymond's sedge is a highly adaptable plant. Preferring some moisture, this ornamental sedge will do best in well-drained to moist conditions in full to part sun. Attractive flowers appear at the end of grass stalks between June and August giving way to seeds that are delicious for songbirds.
Found in Nature: Moist grasslands, meadows, subalpine and mountainous terrain
Distribution: Western North America from the Yukon South through California and East to Saskatchewan
