Description: Bright yellow flowers bloom in profusion during the summer. Hairy Arnica has a good presence in a larger landscape due to its size and showy blooms. This plant spreads by rhizomes and is a great selection for a moist planting site where it has room to grow.

Found in Nature: Moist to wet meadows, thickets and ditches.

Distribution: Subalpine to Alpine, BC, AB to Colorado
