Description: Variable spreading evergreen shrub, up to 1m tall. Very dense branching with dark green needles. Needles are sharp with a white stripe on the underside, unique to the Common Juniper. 'Berries' are actually small cones that persist for two years. First year cones are pale blue, second year cones resemble blueberries. Extremely drought-tolerant and can handle a range of exposures. Do not overwater.
