Description: Stunning cheery pink blooms at the beginning of summer steel the show. This compact native cactus works great in containers, crevice or rock gardens or any hot dry spaces that gets little water and lots of heat. This plant would do well in the dry zone under the eaves on the south side of a building that get full sun. Cactus also make a great deterrent for unwanted foot traffic.

Found in Nature: Dry open sites in the Prairies and Montane.
