Description: Wild Yarrow has aromatic foliage and will occasionally have pale pink flowers. Yarrow is often overlooked as plain or uninteresting but it provides a critical backdrop and contrast color to the landscape, which makes the more “colorful” blooms more vivid. Yarrow is an aggressive plant but this can be an advantage in large spaces, hard to grow areas or as erosion control on slopes and embankments. Yarrow is a favorite of both Bees and Butterflies.

Found in Nature: Dry to moist, open to shaded meadows, ditches and woodlands.

Distribution: Common - Prairies, Rocky Mountains, Parklands and Boreal Forest.

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
