Description: This wildflower has a wonderful smell, edible and/or medicinal properties, and delicate pretty blooms on upright stems. It is very aggressive and should be planted where this attribute is a benefit. If space is a concern Wild Mint can be easily grown and overwintered in containers. Wild Mint makes a great addition to naturalized plantings or large landscapes, and its aggressive nature makes it a good choice for hard to grow spaces. Try planting along meadow pathways where the disturbance of walking through the space will release a minty aroma.

Found in Nature: Moist thickets and meadows and seasonally wet sites.

Distribution: Plains to Montane

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
