Description: Stiff Goldenrod is a good choice for urban gardens or small spaces as it is not a rhizome spreader like many of its cousins and it has great form. Sunny blooms on tall stems in the late summer add interest when other species are fading and provides an important source of pollen; Goldenrod is adored by Bees and Butterflies and has great fall color in shades of burnt pinks and flat maroons.

Found in Nature: Grassy meadows, dry open woodlands.

Distribution: Prairie, Foothills and Parkland
