Description: This anemone grows in the Rocky Mountains and can be found in sunny moist areas next to streams and rivers, or in areas that are seasonally flooded. It is an uncommon native Anemone that will need shelter in the winter (snow cover) and moist soils. This small mountain wildflower usually only produces a single flower and would make a great plant for the collector.

Found in Nature: Mountain stream, riverbanks, floodplains and moist open wooded areas.

Distribution: Rocky Mountains, Boreal Forest

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
