Description: Brilliant red and yellow blooms are eye-catching and showy. Red Columbine can tolerate more sun and less moisture than the Blue or Yellow Columbines, and it's also the largest of the three. Lots of blooms, great color, nice foliage and a full form make this plant a good addition to a well-drained site. Attracts Butterflies and Hummingbirds.

Found in Nature: Open woods in the Southern Rocky Mountains. Moist open sites, often along the tree line.

Distribution: Southern Rocky Mountains

Notes: Available as larger potted stock - pick up only.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
