Description: Lovely pale violet flowers peek out from in between dense bright green leaves and can make a nice groundcover. This little violet likes rich soils, moist to wet conditions in sun or shade. Plant it by your ponds or at the base of your downspouts where it will enjoy the extra water.
Violets provide food for Frittilary butterfly caterpillars and are a great way to attract them to your yard!

Found in Nature: Moist to wet shady wooded areas and sunny sites.

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
