Description: Field chickweed is a pretty, airy wildflower that happily seeds itself about and blooms in profusion. It works well in rock gardens and is a fantastic addition to any hot sunny naturalized site or wildflower garden where it will fill in the gaps and bloom richly, providing lots of action. It also works well in containers and in smaller gardens as it is easily cut back to prevent the seed from maturing.

Found in Nature: Open sunny sites and dry ditches and meadows, rocky soils,

Distribution: Plains to Alpine

Important Information: The "Bloom Period" is an indicator of the time period within which the wildflowers will bloom and does not describe the time period that a single plant will bloom. The "Sizes" listed are intended to be a general guideline to consult during plant selection. Plant growth and bloom times will vary depending on geographical location & individual site conditions.
