Description: The flowers of this plants can be white, pink, or wine red. Delicate blooms in May to August give way to creamy white puffs of silky seed heads, making this plant attractive in the landscape for quite a long time. This Anemone does not spread by rhizomes and does well in any drier sunny site.

Found in Nature: Dry grassland and open wooded sites, embankments.

Distribution: Very common - Prairie Provinces
