Description: This woody native is versatile and will grow happily in sun or shade and in moist to dry soils. Its creamy white blooms in late spring are landing pads for Butterflies, and Bees love it. Birch-Leaved Spirea is great in large sunny flowerbeds or meadows and makes a fantastic understory plant.

Found in Nature: Shady wooded site to open sunny areas, moist to dry soils.

Distribution: Foothills to Subalpine
